I am passionate about helping others on their healing journey as I believe we all have the desire and potential to be our true selves. I see my role as helping to remove barriers to help individuals access who they are and process the pain from their current or past experiences. I believe we can all heal and find the life that make us feel content and at peace. My goal is to create a safe space for others to explore and process.

I've had 15 years of experience in the field and have worked with a diverse age range and many different symptom presentations. After my doctoral degree I completed a 2-year post-doctoral training at Children's Hospital Los Angeles, specializing in family/child trauma treatment. I also gained specializations in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and CBT treatment with all ages. I enjoy working with people throughout the lifespan with the goal to help individuals grow and heal. I utilize mindfulness practices and encourage a balanced lifestyle in mind, body and spirit.

Mentoring is what brought me into this field and I'm still able to do this through my work as a Professor in the Graduate Clinical Psychology program at Vanguard University. This role also keeps me constantly learning and growing.
