Mark Edward Holmes is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist practicing under the supervision of Tim Sandstorm, LMFT. He provides individual and family therapy to adolescents and adults and has experience working in a crisis residential treatment center and a substance use treatment setting.
Mark attended Azusa Pacific University for his undergraduate bachelor's degree and earned his master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Biola University, completing his practicum hours at Vanguard University, where he worked with college students, couples, faculty, and staff. He also worked with student-athletes as an assistant men’s water polo and co-ed swim coach at Biola University. Mark specializes in attachment-based interventions, helping clients build healthier connections, strengthen relationships, and navigate relational stress, while also integrating other evidence-based strategies when appropriate.
Mark has law enforcement and public safety experience, which strengthened his ability to remain calm and focused in high-stress situations; skills he brings to therapy to help clients navigate crises and develop effective coping strategies.
Mark is passionate about people, wanting to walk alongside them no matter where they are in their life journey. Mark’s goal is to create a space where you can truly be yourself, come as you are, where you can feel seen, heard, understood, and supported.
