Lauren is a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee, currently in pursuit of a Master's Degree in Counseling from Hope International University. Lauren attended Vanguard University, prioritizing a faith-based education to offer faith integration on clients’ journey toward mental health.

Experience with children and adolescents has allowed Lauren to incorporate creativity with therapeutic care, as she offers art interventions and creative expression as part of the healing process. Lauren has worked in specialized settings as a behavior therapist with neurodiverse children and with children and adolescents in difficult and/ or crisis situations.

Through her experience, Lauren has come to agree with Richard Schwartz; there is no "bad person," and within that person, no "bad part". Each person's unique experiences have created a pattern of interacting with and viewing the world, and Lauren considers it an honor and a privilege to be given the opportunity to learn the world of the unique individual.

Through positive psychology, Lauren's curiosity, empathy, and non-judgemental presence create a space for healthy self-discovery, acceptance, and growth. Strengths-based approaches allow individuals to move past the problem, toward solutions. Lauren practices IFS, Solutions-Focused, CBT, DBT and positive psychology techniques with individuals and primarily utilizes EFCT with couples. Lauren is passionate about empowering people to recognize their strengths and resources to improve mental health and aid individuals in their journey toward wholeness.
