Katherine is a counseling practicum trainee currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Concordia University Irvine through the Townsend Institute. Her training emphasizes both clinical competence and character development, with a strong foundation in attachment theory, trauma-informed care, and relational healing.
Katherine is passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, understood, and empowered to grow. She approaches counseling with compassion, curiosity, and respect for each client’s unique story, integrating evidence-based practices with a relational and strengths-based perspective.
She is currently completing supervised clinical training and works under the oversight of a licensed supervisor, Sarah Underbrink.
