Elyse is a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee currently earning her Master’s degree at Biola University, Talbot School of Theology. She will be graduating in May of 2027.
Elyse’s heart is to walk alongside clients as the difficult, painful, and often untold parts of their stories unfold in the therapy room. She believes that when anxieties, fears, and trauma are brought into the light, true healing and freedom can begin. Clients are welcome to bring all aspects of themselves openly and honestly, knowing they will be met with compassion, care, and grace.
Because we are created for relational connection, Elyse believes one of the most important parts of the therapeutic process is healing relational wounds and discovering a new path forward marked by freedom, restoration, and joy. She has a special heart for working with those experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, shame, loneliness, and self-criticism.
With previous experience in women’s, adolescent, and children’s ministry, Elyse is passionate about integrating a client’s faith into the counseling process. She is committed to caring for the whole person: mind, body, and soul, and helping clients experience healing that is both emotionally and spiritually transformative.
