Allison Davenport is a Journeys Counseling Ministry trainee completing her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at The King’s University. She and her husband of 15 years share life with their beloved beagle, Murphy. With a background in education, administration, and ministry, Allison brings both professional skill and personal warmth to her counseling work.

Her own journey, marked by perseverance and radical hope, fuels her passion for walking alongside individuals and couples navigating trauma, grief, conflict, church-related wounds, and fertility challenges.

Allison’s counseling approach is client-centered, solution-focused, and Holy Spirit led. Drawing from evidence-based methods such as CBT, Attachment Therapy, Mindfulness, Gottman, and Family Systems, she integrates clinical knowledge with biblical principles to help clients find practical solutions, renewed hope, and lasting transformation.
