Allie is a Journeys Counseling Ministry Trainee completing her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy through The King's University. She is a dog mom and a whole-hearted Oklahoma Sooner who has been married for 7+ years. She has a 10+ year background in Communications and Marketing.

As a seasoned communications professional, Allie has worked in several industries including non-profit, transportation, government and healthcare. Throughout her career, she has maintained an interest in the health and well-being of others. For the last several years, Allie has served and worked in ministry, and she has developed a deep compassion and heart for people. She wants to provide a safe environment for clients to be heard and to heal. She desires to help others get unstuck and live life to the fullest. Her goal is for clients to find solutions as they navigate life’s complexities while also developing a deeper sense of identity and meaning. She seeks to integrate the clinical practice of counseling with a spiritual and Biblical approach.

Allie incorporates different modalities to best meet her clients needs. These include CBT, Mindfulness-Based, and Christian Counseling. She is also interested in expressive arts therapy, play therapy, and art therapy. She hopes to become EMDR certified in the near future.
