Alaina is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 12 years of clinical experience. She has worked in the field as a therapist in various settings including a college counseling center, an outpatient mental health clinic, an inpatient psychiatric hospital, and is currently working as a clinician for a psychiatric evaluation team that provides emergency evaluation services to those experiencing acute psychiatric issues. Alaina also has experience working in ministry with junior high and high school aged students.

Alaina began her work at Journeys Counseling Center in 2009. She works with adult individuals, couples, teens, and families. Her focus includes depression, anxiety, personal growth, relationships, postpartum, navigating life transitions, grief and loss, teen issues, and family therapy. Alaina deeply believes that people have more strength and ability to grow then they sometimes believe. She believes in the transformative growth that can happen when we take intentional steps to show up for ourselves and work on what is holding us back. She is passionate about her work in walking alongside her clients on their journey towards growth, healing, and more connected relationships.
