Kristi is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who provides in-person therapy at Journeys Counseling in Costa Mesa. She specializes in working with women, families, and young adults who are navigating depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, loneliness, grief, trauma, and life transitions. She finds it incredibly rewarding to support individuals as they discover hope, experience healing, and create meaningful changes in their lives.

Her approach is warm, authentic, and collaborative, drawing from attachment-based, somatic, emotion-focused, and trauma-informed perspectives. She is certified in Somatic Experiencing (SEP), a body-based approach that helps clients regulate their nervous system, build resilience, and develop a greater sense of safety and connection with themselves and others. She is dedicated to helping individuals break free from unhelpful patterns, discover their strengths, gifts, and values, and create lives that feel more connected, meaningful, and fulfilling.

Kristi has been married for 34 years and has three adult children. She loves exploring new coffee shops, hiking, paddleboarding, Pilates, playing games, spending time with family and friends, and taking long walks on the beach.
