Brooke is a Licensed Master Social Worker and Certified Trauma Professional. She has gained experience working in a variety of different settings, including eating disorder treatment, inpatient treatment, and private practice, where she has found her niche. She enjoys working with women who struggle with dysfunctional family relationships, childhood trauma that impacts current (relationship) functioning, perfectionism, people pleasing behavior, and poor boundaries.

Brooke goes beyond providing a space for her clients to have someone that listens to them. She works with clients to help them understand the root cause of their areas of struggle and identify practical and effective ways of coping with these struggles. Brooke understands that therapy cannot take a “one-size-fits-all” approach, and therefore will incorporate different approaches that focus on both the mental and physical manifestation of her client's presenting problems. Her goal is to help individuals build strength, healing, and confidence in order to best equip them to work through the inevitable obstacles of life.

Brooke's journey as a Christian really developed at Journeys Counseling. She knows that God brought her to Journeys to help bring her closer to Him and in turn allow her to better serve our community. She feels blessed that the Lord is using her in a way to help other people in their times of healing.
