Alexis is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate with a passion for helping individuals navigate through life's challenges. Alexis completed her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from The King's University in Southlake, TX. She also holds a certificate in Trauma Informed Care, with a specific focus on female survivors. This specialized training equips her with the knowledge and skills necessary to create a safe and understanding environment for individuals who have experienced trauma.

As a Type 1 Diabetic herself, Alexis has a deep passion for supporting clients who live with chronic illness. She understands the unique emotional, physical, and identity-related challenges that can come with a diagnosis. Outside of chronic illness and T1D, Alexis loves working with female survivors of abuse, trauma, infertility or miscarriage, insecurity, self-harm, perfectionism, and more. She also works with teens and children over the age of six who struggle with impulsivity and life struggles.

Her therapeutic approach is collaborative, client-centered, and evidence-based, with a focus on promoting self-awareness and coping skills. She believes in the inherent strength and resilience of individuals, and their capacity for growth and positive change.
