Tim is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the Administrative Director for Journeys. In addition, Tim is an Assistant Professor at Vanguard University in the Graduate Program for Clinical Psychology where he teaches Marital Therapy and Family Therapy courses. Tim holds a Masters in Religion from Vanguard University, Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, and a Doctor of Ministry from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.  His research for his doctoral project focused on two areas: Emotional Intelligence and a Theology of Emotion.  

Tim is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, Christian Association for Psychological Studies, an ordained minister and a regular speaker at churches and conferences. Tim is married to Joy and they have two boys together Liam and Rett.
