Heather is currently a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern at Journeys Counseling Ministry. She received her Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family therapy from Azusa Pacific University, and her Bachelors of Science in Social Work from Metropolitan State College of Denver. Heather has been married for almost 13 years and has a passion for working with individuals, couples, and children. Heather's desire is to help people strive for healing through authenticity, intimacy and connection in relationships and personal growth in their particular developmental stage of life. Previously, Heather was a military wife for 3 years and worked for 9 years in the finance industry. Heather has been a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists since 2006 and has experience working with young adults in the counseling center at Vanguard University. Her outside interests include travel and books.
