Barron earned her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from National University and received her Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia University. Before joining Journeys, Barron received clinical experience at Turning Point, working with troubled teens and at Vanguard University working with students. She is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and recently attended the International Evolution of Psychotherapy Conference taught by renowned clinicians and theorists. Barron spent 20 years in the field of law office management prior to coming to Journeys where she both helps out administratively and works as a therapist. It is her passion to use her education, training and life experience to help her clients find hope and healing from their struggles. Barron has been married to Joe Harley for 27 years and together they have a boxer dog named Mulligan.
