Extension 104

Since the year 2000, Steve's clinical experience has been focused on strengthening the emotional bonds of couples and their families.  If you are looking for a non-therapeutic setting, consider attending one of Steve’s parenting workshops where he helps busy parents take the guesswork out and put the fun back into raising their children.  Steve's workshops are rich with humor, insightful stories and experiential exercises.  Steve and his parenting advice have been featured twice on TBN's show, "Joy in Our Town."

In addition to doing therapy, Steve is an Assistant Professor or Psychology at Vanguard University.  Since 2000 he has taught several classes: Developmental Psychology, Behavior Modification, Social Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Psychology of the Family, and Foundations of Christian Life.  Steve holds a Master of Arts degree in Religion from Vanguard University, and a second M.A. from Azusa Pacific University in Clinical Psychology.

Steve is an ordained minister and a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. Steve also holds certifications with organizations such as Prepare and Enrich and the Prevention and Relationship Enhancement Program.

Steve's outside interests include surfing and doing it as often as possible.  Together, Steve and his wife Toni raise their two boys.
