Sheri is a Marriage and Family intern. She earned her Masters degree at Azusa Pacific University in July 2005 and her Bachelor of Arts at Biola University in 1994. Her experience in the mental health field includes four years of service at OliveCrest Homes for Abused Children where she implemented and supervised the residential treatment programs for its adolescent population. Utilizing this experience she then worked for The Boys and Girls Clubs of America creating and implementing programs for their West Valley Teen Center.

She also has experience working with the foster and adopted population as she has served at the Kinship Center Adoption Clinic for the last four years. She is presently in the clinical role of assisting families in the adoption process with the primary focus on attachment. Through her training and education at APU she has had the opportunity to gain clinical experience in Vanguard University’s Counseling Center as well as exposure to the autistic population in working with Aces, Inc. Sheri began her career with Journeys in July 2005 and is excited about the continued cultivation of this relationship and the opportunity to learn from, and to be challenged and influenced by such an integral organization.
